Our dearest friend, James Wesley Schlumpf, 42, of Fairhope, Alabama died suddenly on Friday, September 26, 2014. He was born in New York and attended West Islip High School. James was a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts.
He relocated to Fairhope, Alabama in 2004 with his wife, Wendy, and two children where he started a successful business, East Coast Contracting, specializing in commercial building, decking, marine pilings, bulkheads and remodeling.
Jim is preceded in death by his wife and another dear friend to us, Wendy Schlumpf, by just a few months ago.
They both leave behind two teenage children, Wanda & Wesley. This has been a tragic ordeal for them, losing both their parents in a few months time. All money raised will support both children in future educational and living expenses.

Our hearts and love pour open to the memories of our dear friends Jimmy & Wendy. May God be the winds that stand behind and give strength to their children.
