Great North Run to help Alfie get his physio

Donation protected
Hi all,
As you may, or may not be aware, that Alfie suffered from a terrible accident last summer when he fell off an electric bike. As a result he suffered serious head and spinal injuries. He has spent months in the RVI and then later in James Cook hospital. As you can imagine this had had a huge impact upon Alfie and his family.
Unfortunately, since his discharge in December, the NHS have been unable to provide the specialist physiotherapy that Alfie requires. Therefore, in order to give him the best chance of walking again, his family have had to look elsewhere. Fortunately they have found somewhere called at Neural Pathways. This physiotherapy is aimed at giving him and his family the brightest possible future. Throughout this terrible experience Alfie has faced every single challenge with huge determination, dignity and positivity. As you can imagine the private physiotherapy is very expensive but an essential part of his journey going forward.
Therefore, in order to try and support Alfie and his family I have decided to try and raise some money by ‘running’ the Great North Run. If you can, please give what you can afford, every penny is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Chris
