Hi my name is Andrea and I am fundraising for my dog Luna. Luna is a 7 year old Spaniel and truly one of the most beautiful, special dogs you could ever meet.

She adores people — especially children — and her infectious, gentle nature means everyone who meets her falls in love with her instantly. Luna will always bring you a “gift”, when she sees you whether that’s her favourite toy, a shoe, or a carefully chosen stick.

I’ve had Luna since she was just 10 weeks old, the day she chose me by walking straight up and kissing my foot. From that moment on, she has been my constant companion, best friend and my heart. She has helped me grieve for my mother and supported me with my anxiety by always being there for a hug.

Recently, Luna underwent surgery and then very suddenly became critically unwell. She is now in Moorview Veterinary Hospital, receiving intensive, round-the-clock care including IV fluids, antibiotics, close monitoring, and specialist support. Her vets truly believe in her — as we do — but she needs more time and ongoing intensive care to give her the best chance of recovery.

The cost of her treatment is £1,400 per day, and unfortunately my insurance policy limit has been reached far quicker than expected. Despite this, Luna is still fighting, and her veterinary team feels she deserves every possible chance.

I am raising funds to help cover:

• Ongoing intensive care and hospitalisation

• Medications and IV treatments

• Specialist monitoring and diagnostics

Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards Luna’s veterinary care and helping her continue her fight.
