Hi,
My name is Debbie and I am in need of help for my cat.
Moo's (Misty's) my cat and is a real support to me as she has been with me through the last 10 years. In this time I have lost over 80% of my sight, 3 of my grandparents have died and an uncle, I've also been diagnosed with scoliosis and kyphosis (my spine curves towards my left side, back towards my left shoulder blade and corkscrews) so my spine sits under my left shoulded blade sonewhere. I was also diagnosed with ME/CFS 2013.....Moo's been the one person to get me out of bed, you get no choice when she yells at you coz she's hungry lol.
All of the above have resulted in me being unable to work as the doctor has said I'm not able to. I am totally reliant on the money the government give me, this covers my normal living expenses but leaves very little for extras.
Unfortunately on a recent visit to the vet it was discovered that Moo has got a very sore mouth, her teeth need to be professionally cleaned and removed as she has root regression. This needs to be done under general anaesthetic and could involve a night stay in the vets depending how she reacts to the general anaesthetic as she also has brain damage.
I have had some funding from RSPCA Norwich but this has left me struggling to pay the rest as they're really limited in what spare money they have to help others.
I can't get insurance for her as she has pre existing conditions, Moo's a rescue and had health problems before she was rescued so I've never been able to get insurance.
Please can you help me, both of us will appreciate anything you can donate....if you can't afford to donate please share anywhere n everywhere.
Moo's been there for me through some really hard times and now I can't afford to help her when she needs it which is absolutely killing me.....I HATE IT .
Anything you can donate would be appreciated by both of us, Moo's been through enough in her life as it is without this.
If I end up with more money than I need I will split the rest between the RSPCA and Yorkshire Cat Rescue so that they can continue to help other people in situations like mine.
