Katie Waters (Beil)

Please help us raise some money for my sister. She's in the fight of her life right now. Anything raised will go right to Katie and her husband Steve.

On July 25th, Katie was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer. From the diagnostic testing, her cancer has spread to her lymph nodes and spine. The tumor in the spine has fractured two of her vertebrae, Making it very painful and difficult for Katie to perform her normal daily routine. Due to the severity of her cancer, Katie is unable to work. She will be going through extensive surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy in the upcoming months.

Our family has been through a lot of loss in the past few years with the deaths of our father and uncle. To hear this news about Katie has been heartbreaking, to say the least. True to form - Katie is staying strong and positive. Her medical team has been very positive about treating the cancer. They have been very prompt and timely in their testing and treatment.

Her family and friends have been extremely helpful and thoughtful in their support. Her family is asking for help with expenses. She is trying to get disability, but as we know, it can be a lengthy process.

We are asking for any help that you can contribute to help us weather the storm to come. Katie is far too kind of a person to have to deal with this. Cancer picked the wrong girl!
