2020 was a difficult year for most, and after being laid off due to COVID, I faced many months of fear, anxiety, and uncertainty on what I should do next. I spent months looking for a corporate job, and had a lot of time to think about what a meaningful career and future looked like for me. As a competitive athlete, I discovered my passion for physical wellbeing, but knew pursuing a career in this field would require further education. Receiving a Bachelor's degree from Stanford University is something I will always be grateful for, but the Physical Therapy Assistant program offered at Stanbridge University will give me the tools to build a meaningful career focused on helping others heal. Throughout my football career, I experienced and witnessed the debilitating  effects of chronic physical pain and injury. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, I hope to help others alleviate their pain and lead happier and healthier lives. 

The Physical Therapy Assistant program is three academic years with a total price of $59,995. After loans, I am responsible for paying $31,553 before completing the program. This fund is set at a goal of $10,000 to help me pay for the first academic year and create a buffer that will allow me to work part-time and save money to pay for the remaining two academic years. I will also be applying for as many scholarships and grants as I am eligible for.
