Dear friends and family,  with a heavy broken heart, I'm driving home from San Antonio from visiting my sister.
She has been battling terminal cancer since her diagnosis in May.  A few years ago, she defeated breast cancer, but now it has spread through her liver and all her bones. She will no longer receive treatment and is very weak.
Today in her hospital bed as we were deciding on hospice care and discussing her last wishes her sad heart was completely focused on what will happen to her 19 year old daughter.

My beautiful sweet niece Hannah has already endured a difficult journey as an only child. First with her dad becoming severely disabled from a car accident and stroke that caused permanent brain damage. For the past 9 years he's been unable to walk and wheelchair bound with 24 hour home health care.

Now ,  her mom is in her last part of her time on this earth. Hannah will certainly have days and months ahead of grief, sadness, and struggle. 

My sister, Tonya, is desperate to know that her daughter will not have to carry a financial burden when she passes and wants her to be cared for. 

As her aunt and uncle, Colin and I will certainly help as much as we can. However, I know there are so many of you that said you want to help too.

This is the only thing I can think of in the moment... give Hannah money to help her continue college, help with gas, food, and expenses to live independently. Personally , my prayer is to give my sister a sense of peace that her daughter is loved and  others do care. I wanted to reach out to my friends and family to help meet this need. Tonya has very little to no means to pass on to her daughter. She told me today how scared she was for Hannah's future.

I've never done this before. It's hard and humbling. Im praying for her Comfort, trusting the Lord for provision, and asking for any donation and prayer for Hannah. Your support is such a huge blessing.
