Hi, there, On April 6th, I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident with major injuries to my left leg. My tibia, the big bone in lower leg, was shattered at the knee joint. I’m facing a long road to recovery with multiple surgeries. I have already had one surgery to install a metal brace to keep my bones together while the swelling goes down. Soon I’ll have another surgery to repair my bone with multiple metal plates and screws. There will be months of physical and occupational therapy to learn to walk again.
All of this places a lot of financial strain on my family which I take great pride in providing for. Currently, we’re in a dire situation until I can get back to walking independently and working again.
Any support, big or small, will help me focus on healing and getting back on my feet, rather than allowing stress to be an added battle in my recovery. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.

**Update**
secondary surgery was completed to install my pens and rods to stabilize my tibia. There was a few complications afterwards but eventually things got stabilized, and I was sent home to rest and recover but still a long ways until I can start physical therapy. Thank you again for your help in support.
