It’s with profound sadness that I share the passing of my incredible mother, Angela Travis, on October 4, 2025. Despite receiving the devastating news of her cancer diagnosis on December 23,2023 disease she had always feared after losing her own mother to it my mom remained hopeful and brave.
Following her doctor’s recommendations, she began chemotherapy and faced each treatment with courage, never losing sight of her role as our single parent and primary provider. She cared not only for me and my siblings but also for my uncle, Floyd. Her selflessness and resilience were truly inspiring, as she continued to work tirelessly to provide for our household, even in the days following her chemo sessions.
My mother’s one year and ten month battle with cancer was a testament to her unwavering strength and faith. Though her passing has left our hearts broken, we find comfort in knowing that she prepared us for this moment—teaching us to be strong, united, and compassionate.
As we navigate this difficult time, I’m committed to honoring my mother’s legacy by giving her a farewell service that celebrates her life, love, and spirit. The funeral expenses are significant, and I’m also devoted to supporting my siblings—Cash, Tiffany, and Ontario—as we begin this new chapter without her.
Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will help us give my mother the sendoff she deserves. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support, generosity, and prayers during this challenging time.
Thank you in advance
