On Saturday, September 13th, my mom’s basement caught on fire due to an electrical issue. The fire was in the walls and hard to find, so the firefighters had to knock down several walls. The smoke damage is very extensive. I am asking for help to repair the basement and start cleaning the smoke damage. It is a duplex, and my niece, her husband, and their four kids live upstairs, so there are two families displaced by the fire. My mom, Maria, is disabled and unable to physically help.
