In March of 2020, Priscilla Marie Vasquez was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. As you can imagine, the news was received with ultimate shock and disbelief, but she was determined to fight this devastating disease until the very end.
Priscilla underwent chemotherapy treatments and an extremely invasive 7 1/2 hour surgery. She was unwavering about battling this cancer and focused on doing all she could to be there for her two daughters Kylie (16), Sophia (11), their dad Rene, and her entire family! With her determination and treatment, Priscilla went into remission for a few months feeling extremely hopeful and thrilled that she was healing.
A couple of months later the cancer returned aggressively and spread throughout her body. She continued to undergo treatment, trying everything possible to stop the spread. She bypassed standard treatment to enroll in a stronger clinical trial that sounded intimidating but promising with weekly chemotherapy infusions. She’s endured unimaginable pain and suffering and managed to stay strong and dedicated never faltering.
It is with the deepest sadness and disbelief that Priscilla was recently informed the cancer has not responded to treatment and is no longer an option. With the days ahead, she and her family are left with very hard life decisions that are beyond comprehension for a 39 year old young woman who is a mother, daughter, partner, sister, grand-daughter, cousin, friend and so much more.
We humbly ask for your assistance during this difficult time to help Priscilla with any alternative treatment. She is continuing to fight every single day. Any prayers or monetary donation will be greatly appreciated to support Priscilla and her family during the most difficult time of their lives. We thank you in advance for all your prayers and donations! Your support means the world to all of us!
