Fares Alsafadi is 18 years old, from Gaza. He just scored 98.1% on his General Secondary Education exams, the highest possible track, Scientific Stream, with near-perfect marks in Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
He wants to become a DOCTOR.
To understand what that number really means, you have to understand what it took to get there.
For the past two years, Fares has studied for his exams while living through war. His family's home is barely standing. There has been little to no clean water, little food, and for long stretches, no electricity and almost no internet connection, the very things most students take for granted just to open a textbook or watch a single lesson online. He studied anyway, by whatever light and connection he could find, holding on to one goal: To qualify for medical school and become the kind of doctor his community desperately needs.
In the middle of all this, Fares lost his brother, who was killed in the war. He carried that grief and kept going, not because it was easy, but because he had made a Promise to himself about the life he wanted to build, and he refused to let it go.
He passed. He didn't just pass, he scored among the highest marks a student can achieve, in the hardest possible circumstances.
Now Fares stands at the edge of his dream, and the only thing standing between him and a medical degree is the same thing that made everything else so hard: resources. Tuition, books, equipment, and the basic stability every student needs to actually study and thrive.
We're asking for your HELP to get him there.
A contribution of any size is a vote of confidence in a young man who has already proven, beyond any doubt, that he has what it takes, the discipline, the resilience, and the heart. Fares didn't just survive the war.
He studied through it, grieved through it, and still came out on top. Imagine what he can do with the chance to actually train as the doctor he was clearly meant to become.
Help us send Fares to medical school. Help him turn everything he's already overcome into a FUTURE where he heals others the way he's had to heal himself.
Every donation, every share, brings him one step closer.
