Levi is a joyful and spirited 3 year old from Donegal who was unfortunately diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia just three days before Christmas this year. This unexpected news meant that he had to spend two weeks in the hospital, including Christmas Day, receiving chemo treatment.

While he is receiving the best care and he's in the best hands possible, it has been a tough time financially as well as emotionally.

We received the keys to our first family home the day Levi was admitted to hospital and as such we spent the entirety of our savings on it, making this critical time even more stressful.

Levi currently needs to take bi-weekly trips to Dublin, each involving an eight-hour round trip, in addition to several hospital visits each week for treatment and monitoring. Given the level of care and the intensity of his treatment, both my partner and I have decided to stay at home with Levi full-time throughout his most intensive phases. Consequently, my partner has had to step away from his permanent job to assist in caring for Levi and our other son. This decision has resulted in a loss of at least six months' worth of income, placing significant financial pressure on our family.

We would truly appreciate any help you have to give which would be used towards relieving some of the financial pressure as well as necessary travel, medical necessities, accommodations and anything else included in the care for Levi throughout his treatment which will span between 2-3 years.
