Support Luna Alvarez's Fight Against Leukemia

On April 22, 2023 our grandniece, Luna Alvarez was diagnosed with Leukemia, a type of blood cancer that is more common in young children. It is crazy how your life can change in a matter of seconds, minutes, hours, and/or days. Her loving parents are living a parent’s worst nightmare, devastated, confused, broken, helpless. Questioning why us, why our baby girl, who just a few days prior was living her normal, happy life. Prior to her diagnosis, Luna was a vibrant, energetic 2-year-old who loved her parents and siblings’ attention. Now, she has not been allowed to be outside of the house other than to go to the doctor or hospital nor can she be around other people since her diagnosis. Mom and dad take turns caring for Luna at the hospital or home until her next scheduled appointment. This means mom cannot go to work because she must be with Luna 24/7. Traveling expenses have caused a hardship on their finances and they have 5 other children to feed and care for.

Please help Lunas parents with numerous medical bills and medications that their insurance does not cover.
