Family Rebuild after House Fire
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to let you know about a devastating situation that my niece Cassi and her husband Alphonso Wright are currently facing. On January 14th, their rental home in Dover, DE, was completely destroyed in a fire caused by an electrical issue. Thankfully, Cassi, Alphonso, and their five young children were not home at the time and are safe. But the loss has been catastrophic—everything they owned was lost in the fire, from clothing to basic necessities to all of their personal belongings.
Currently, they are staying in a hotel while they search for housing, and though they have reached out to local organizations for assistance, they are still in urgent need of help. Unfortunately, they didn’t have renters insurance, so they are turning to family and friends to get through this incredibly difficult time.
Here’s how you can help:
Immediate needs: They need basic items to get by day to day, such as clothing, toiletries, and essentials.
Long-term needs: Once they secure a new home, they will need furniture, household items, and other items to rebuild their lives.
Any support you can offer—whether financial, clothing, or even donations of furniture or household goods—would be deeply appreciated. Even a small contribution will go a long way in helping them regain a sense of stability during this challenging time.
Thank you for keeping Cassi, Alphonso, and their children in your thoughts. Your love and support mean the world to them.
