It is with profound sadness that we share the devastating loss of Tristan Price, a much-loved member of Ventnor Rugby Club, who tragically lost his life in a car accident.

Tristan was more than just a player or supporter of the club — he was a friend, a teammate, and a constant source of positivity. His passion for rugby, his loyalty to Ventnor, and the kindness he showed to everyone around him left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether on or off the pitch, Tristan brought energy, warmth, and an infectious spirit that will never be forgotten.

Away from the rugby pitch, Tristan was also a well-known and much-loved doorman in Newport, Isle of Wight. He was someone many people recognised, trusted, and respected — always looking out for others, offering a friendly word, and helping keep people safe. His presence touched countless lives across the local community.

Beyond rugby and work, Tristan was a devoted family man and a cherished friend. His sudden passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of those closest to him, particularly his family, who are now facing an incredibly difficult time filled with grief and heartbreak.

We are raising funds to help support Tristan’s family with the immediate funeral and memorial expenses. Any additional funds raised will be placed into a junior ISA for his daughter, to help support her future and honour Tristan’s legacy as a loving father.
