Valerie's Fight Against Cancer

Hi,

We are raising money in behalf of Valerie Smith and her family. On Mother's Day, Valerie was diagnosed with metatastic breast cancer that has now spread to several parts of her body. She is fighting it with the same courage and strength she has shown throughout her life. This will be a big fight and she must travel from her farm in the mountains to Dallas, Texas for treatment. Medical bills, travel bills and the care of her children require expenses not covered by insurance. We all know that major medical events come with unforseen costs and to deal with that during such a difficult time can be debilitating. They have made some difficult choices to arrange this treatment and need our help.

Valerie is a loving mother, a wonderful friend and devoted wife. She is an amazing person who has always lived in the service of others. She cares for her grandmother who has dementia, her children, her church and her husband with love and devotion. All people deserve help when needed, but Valerie deserves an extra bit more. She is a tremendous person and we hope together we can make a tremendous difference for her. Any donation is welcome, big or small.
