Aid Dad's Journey to Health and Stability

My dad is 53 years old. On Tuesday, April 9th, my dad fell in his apartment. He got rushed to the hospital and there he coded, and his heart stopped for 15 minutes. He then coded again, and his heart stopped for 5. They broke all of his ribs and put him into a medically induced coma. He was put on a ventilator and hooked up to lots of machines. They aren’t sure what caused any of this.

It was hard for me because I had to make all the medical decisions as I was put into the power of attorney position. He doesn’t have any parents or spouse, and I am his only daughter.

He had his CDL license, but since this happened, they are going to take it away. He is very worried about money, and he doesn’t have insurance as he was struggling financially in the first place.

I am a 21-year-old trying to get through life myself without any support, and I would like to take any stress off my dad. And the first step would be anything financial. Again, anything would help!!
