Help My Family in This Time of Need

Hi everyone, my name is Oliver Ramirez, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my incredible dad, Bulmaro Ramirez, known as Mario to many of his loved ones. Early Sunday morning, July 14, around 1:30 am, our lives took a drastic turn. My dad, on his way home from a long work shift, noticed a car stranded in the middle of Old Hickory Blvd.

Inside was a mother and her baby, desperate for help. Without hesitation, my dad stopped to assist. As my dad was inspecting why the car was stranded in the middle of the road, he noticed that it had driven over a huge rock. The car wouldn’t move because the two front wheels were lifted slightly off the ground, and oil was leaking from the bottom. When he went inside the car, trying to see if it was possible to reverse it to safety, another vehicle crashed into the woman’s car just as my dad was about to step out. The impact sent him flying out of the driver's door about 7 feet, where he landed hard on his left side.

The accident resulted in two broken ribs(10 & 11)on his left side, and multiple fractures in his thoracic vertebrae (T-8, T-9, and T-10). His shoulder is covered in bruises, and his arm is scraped all over. The pain and the severity of his injuries are overwhelming, and knowing that my dad has to endure this breaks my heart

My dad is the backbone of our family, a single immigrant father tirelessly working nearly 12 hours a day across two jobs. He is the sole provider for me and my two younger sisters, Jocelyn and Alondra. Despite the immense pressure, he always carries a smile and spreads joy wherever he goes. Now, with this horrific accident, he’s facing 3-4 months of recovery, unable to work or cover his mounting medical bills, alongside our regular expenses.
