Over 20 years ago, my mother was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). For those of you who don't know, this disease has no cure and without proper treatment, your body's immune system starts to attack your own body/organs. 

My mother was on proper medication until the year of 2016 due to financial issues. The specialists she needed to see were getting too costly along with the medication she needed to treat her disease.

Consequently, my family and I have been in and out of the hospital since December 2019, where she was diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis Stage 4-5 after a kidney biopsy. Along with that, she was also diagnosed with chronic anemia which caused her blood count to be severely low in which doctors considered she had to receive several blood transfusions. Doctors tried several medications to try and bring her creatinine levels to a better state, until the end of February where she had to start Dialysis immediately due to the increased fluid build up in her legs, face, and lungs.

We are asking for any donations to help with her Dialysis treatments, since she doesn't qualify for health insurance.
