Im Richard Self , Self Tub Refinishing Rome, Ga.  Carla Dykes My Best Friend and Employee at Self Tub Refinishing was Burned Badly while on a job in Cartersville this past week. While using a Dewalt drill a spark from a motor brush ignited vapors from a large can of Laquer thinner that she was wiping tub with. She was Airlifted from our job location in Cartersville to Burn Unit in Austell. She has 2nd and 3rd Degree Burns on her Face, Neck, Arms, and Hands. Even though insurance will cover some it will not cover all medical bills and will definitely not help with living expenses during what will be a long very tough recovery. It happened so fast She is devastated for so many reasons like we all would be. The money collected will be directly deposited into an Account set up for Carla. Thank You so much for your help.
