My sister Lindsay was brought to Victoria by medevac on October 23rd at 33 weeks pregnant because she had gotten pre eclampsia and they needed to do whatever they could to keep Bennett in her as long as they could but at the same time make sure her health was ok. That wasn't successful so they induced her on October 25th and on the 26th she went in to labour but as soon as she started having hard contractions Bennett was stressed and his heart rate was dropping so they did a cesarean.

My nephew Bennett was born on October 26, 2015 premature weighing in at 3.2 pounds.

To top off everything else, baby Bennett was born with a little cleft lip & palate.  There will be many trips to Victoria in the future for surgeries, specialist appointments etc...... 

He is a little fighter! And he will be ok! But he has a long road ahead of him.

He will be in the hospital in Victoria for approx another 6 weeks. Lindsay has been released and is doing good but she will be staying in Victoria until Bennett gets to go home :)

I am asking family and friends to help in any way, even small....it all counts and is very much appreciated!
