My name is Sophia Lo and I am raising funds for a good friend of mine, Asif Siddique who is in dire need of your support.

Asif is a loving husband to his wife Farha and a loving father to his two children, Ariz (7) and Zara (4). Recently they arrived from India for a short vacation in the US, the kids were ecstatic to see their father after being apart for almost a year. They had plans for a memorable trip to the amusement park and the zoo, it all seemed unreal that they were going to enjoy life as a family again.

Unfortunately on May 1st, their lives came crashing down as Asif was admitted to the Los Robles ICU with Acute Pancreatitis, he is still in a medical induced coma and on life support. Instead of sitting by their father’s side, enjoying rides and talking about the happiest moments in their lives, his children are now sitting by his bedside, praying for their father to talk to them again and give them big hugs.

On behalf of Siddique’s family, we are requesting fellow colleagues, friends and well-wishers to assist with the medical expenses for Asif and the living expenses for his family while he continues to recover from this critical illness.

At this time, Asif’s prognosis is uncertain and his road to recovery is going to be a long one.
