Help Lydia Dickerson Beat Breast Cancer

Lydia is a loving wife, wonderful mother, fun-loving grandmother, caring daughter, selfless aunt and honest friend. If you know Lydia at all, you know she would give you the shirt off her back without a second thought. She has gone above and beyond for the people she loves without asking for anything in return. (And I am probably going to catch a lot of sass for even making this page, but to everyone who loves her, it is worth it.)

In May of 2023, Lydia was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time in her life. She went through chemotherapy, a mastectomy, radiation and immunotherapy. Through all this she remained strong and steadfast in the Lord, and still managed to bring joy to everyone around her. Shortly after eagerly returning back to work as a hairstylist, she received an injury to her dominant hand and has not been able to do what she loves or provide an income for her family. To make matters worse, last week our world was rocked when we found out her very aggressive cancer had returned. With limited treatment options, she is current seeking care outside of the country for the next three weeks. We are very hopeful this treatment will heal her and give her more time with the ones she loves the most!

This page is to give back to Lydia and her family during this unimaginable time. Lydia has selflessly served the Lord and her community time and time again and has never asked or expected anything in return. We are hoping this will ease the burden and stress of finances so she can focus on healing her body and giving her all to beat this terrible disease.
