This was an article done 4/17/2020 on my family that is me and my daughter pictured and other families like mine we are being left behind, suffering with nobody listening. I have spoken to lawmakers, DPH, The Governer's Office and dozens and dozens of more places to try and get my family help. I am Currently working with the MA Coalition for the Homeless as they are advocating for me and other families like mine but they are getting no Government response either! We feel invisible, ignored and completely like we are not real human beings. I have been working with another family from the congregate shelter i live in to try and get something done. I am not currently staying at the shelter since it is not safe for my family or any family. No deep cleanings are being done, nobody has been offered masks its currently buisness as usual and that is terrifying! I have underlying health issues and if i contracted the virus i could perish. We are currently using every penny of my husbands unemployment weekly to pay for hotels or air bnb's moving weekly when we find something cheaper. Its hundreds of dollars a week to keep my family safe, but we dont have the means to buy groceries, diapers, wipes and all the neccesseties to live and pay for the room. Any help is beyond helpful.
