Jason Smith, age 41, passed away January 19, 2022 following a quick aggressive Lymphoma diagnosis. He fell ill at the beginning of December 2021. His body was just too sick to recover. He leaves behind his wife, Desiree, two teenage children, Bryanna (17) and Brody (13), and his giant tortoise, Luna.
Jason had a passion for helping others. His most recent position was teaching English & Literature at Western Heights High School in Oklahoma City. Prior to teaching, Jason worked in social work assisting troubled and homeless teens find purpose and shelter.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, talking to strangers, and was an avid Pops collector. He met his lovely wife working at the local roller skating rink 22 years ago. He loved traveling and exploring new adventurous cuisine. He wore Hawaiian shirts and Birkenstock sandals year-round before Birkenstocks were cool. He was tremendously caring and giving of his time. His favorite Superhero was Superman and everyone knew it. Most importantly, he was such a genuinely good person and a proud dad!

All donations will directly fund expenses incurred by this unforeseen event. He spent his last few days in ICU under the care of the kindest nurses with his wife by his side. His wife and children have hard times ahead, but alleviating financial concern helps them focus on mending their broken hearts.
He will be greatly missed! Rest In Peace, Dude!
