Hope for Katelyn

I am starting a fundraiser for my younger 24 year old sister Katelyn Szerencsei as she hopefully transitions into her new life after suffering a tragic work accident. On August 14th at around 11pm she was struck at work by a truck traveling along the highway at around 80 km/h. Recovery for Katelyn has been slow and excruciating having needed multiple surgeries in order to remove her Kidney, spleen as well as stop any bleeding from lacerations on her other organs. Katelyn has also needed spinal reconstruction as she badly severed her lower vertebrae which unfortunately means she will most likely not walk again. We are hoping to raise money to help with any necessary equpment/medications and conversions required to help her live as close to normal a life as possible following her recovery. Katelyn, her husband and four year old boy have already been through so much, if we can help remove even a little bit of the financial stress and burden from them it will go a long ways.
Katelyn loved being outdoors with her family whether it was swimming, hiking or biking around the subdivision. Hopefully with everyones continued love and support she can make it through this long recovery and spend many more years creating more memories with her family.
