During this season, at the start of a new year, I am reminded of the importance of community and living interdependently.
Friends and family, I ask for your prayers, and if you are able, your support.
As many of you know, I have been in law school for the past two years in an accelerated program called SCALE at Southwestern Law. I attended because I wanted to begin a career in Federal Indian Law. Law school was very challenging but fun. I gradually learned the law (and how much I did not know)and felt like I was *winning.*
But after graduation, I began bar prep. This was a very difficult time for Archie, Rhys and I. We began living off the generosity of my parents and I crammed the law. Now, 9 months later, we received the sad news that I did not pass. I did, however, pass the multiple choice portion but did not pass the essays or performance tests.
That is where you come in. We feel that tutors may be the right way to go. I found a tutor, Victoria Dempsey with the Writing Edge in San Francisco. She employs writing method for the performance tests focuses on proficiently for the bar. I want to hire her but simply do not have the funds.
Would you consider giving?
Our goal is to raise $2500 – which covers her charges. If we raise the funds, we will hire her.
Either way, I appreciate your good thoughts and prayers which will help me along the way.
Again, thank you for your friendship, love and support! If you feel led to “go fund me” I greatly appreciate the support.
Love and hugs! Tamara, Archie and Rhys
