Shayne Potter's Funeral
Donation protected
My siblings and I were saddened to learn of the passing of our father, Shayne Potter, on December 19, 2015. Our father had a good heart but struggled the majority of his life with alcoholism and substance abuse, which ultimately claimed his life. The vicious cycle of his addiction-recovery-relapse destroyed relationships and wounded many hearts, but we are comforted in knowing that because of the grace and mercy of the Savior, all that is unfair or unjust in this life will be made right in the end.
As his adult children, we are assuming the responsbility that is ours to provide funeral services for him. Many have reached out to us this past week to offer help and condolences, and I created this campaign as a way for you to do so.
Our hearts ache knowing that our father died alone with very few possessions and finances. Any and all funds donated will be used to help with the costs of his services. My siblings and I thank you for your love, support, and prayers as we grow through this unique time. Services will be held on Tuesday, Decemeber 29, at 11:00 am at Heritage Mortuary in Huntington, Utah.
