Help Poppy Overcome Her Dental Pain

I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request. I recently adopted a sweet 3 year old cat named Poppy who had been abandoned and left malnourished in an empty apartment. Despite all she’s endured, she is the gentlest, most loving companion and I am committed to giving her the happy, healthy life she deserves .

Unfortunately Poppy came with serious medical challenges. She suffers from severe dental disease ( stomatitis and resorption ) that causes constant pain and inflammation. At her first dental surgery 9 teeth were removed, and she’ll likely need a full-mouth extraction in the future. In the meantime, she requires bi-monthly laser treatments to manage the pain. Her vet was shocked she could even eat.

She also needs to see an eye specialist. One eye appears deformed, and both pupils move abnormally. Diagnostic testing is essential and there are concerns she will require treatment.

The total cost of her care is estimated at $1,755.

-Initial dental surgery: $800

-Ongoing laser treatments: $450 a year

Diagnostic eye tests: $350 (with possible additional treatment)

Ongoing vet follow-ups. $155
