My big sister has always looked out for me and now it is time for me to repay the favor....
Stefanie is one of the strongest people I know but, Superhero's can get sick too. She has always remained positive no matter what life has thrown at her.
-She beat spinal meningitis at age 13 with the amazing team from Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY helping her fight.
-She has raised her 7 year old daughter by herself after the sudden passing of her husband Aaron 4 years ago.
-She kept their family business, Wood It Be Tree Service, going as long as she could. But has recently had to sell to focus on her health.
We now turn to the talented staff at MUSC Health in Charleston, SC. Stefanie has a benign brain tumor and needs to have surgery on March 10th. It was found 3 years ago but because of the size and location her doctor at the time wanted to leave it alone. Eight months ago my sister was hit by a stolen car, totaling hers, breaking her wrist and giving the doctor's at MUSC a reason to get a MRI. It was not good news. It had grown by 2 cm. It is located on the cerebellum and is starting to effect her motor skills.
I am asking for help with both the extraordinary surgery cost and the cost of keeping a family on their feet. Help with the groceries. Help with the utilities. Help with mortgage.
