This April, I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon alongside my daughter, Anna, to raise money for Blood Cancer UK.
This isn’t just a charity run for us. Blood cancer has shaped our family across generations.
My Nana died from leukaemia.
My wonderful late dad lived with blood cancer.
And I’m now living with it myself.
Blood Cancer UK has been there through the research, the treatment, the information, and the quiet reassurance that you’re not facing this alone. They fund life-saving research and support people at every stage, from diagnosis to living with and beyond blood cancer.
Running 13.1 miles is no small thing for either of us, but doing it together makes it powerful. It’s about hope, resilience, and showing that blood cancer doesn’t get the final say.
If you’re able to donate, thank you. Every contribution, big or small, helps fund research, support families, and move us closer to a future where blood cancer can be beaten for good.
Thank you for supporting something that means the world to us
