Hi, my name is Branyiell Hall, and I’ve been living with sickle cell disease my entire life. This condition has brought unimaginable pain and hardship, including countless hospitalizations, ongoing blood transfusions, and multiple surgeries. It’s a constant fight — physically, emotionally, and financially.
Right now, I’m facing one of the most difficult chapters yet. I urgently need two surgeries — one to remove painful gallstones and another for my spine. On top of that, I’m currently unable to walk due to extreme weakness. My doctors need an MRI scan to determine what’s causing this sudden loss of mobility, but the MRI machine at Rand Memorial Hospital is not working. The only available machine is at Doctors Hospital, which comes with additional costs I simply can’t cover on my own.
I've also had to relearn how to walk before through therapy, and now I may be facing that journey all over again — but this time, without the resources I need.
This situation has left me vulnerable and in urgent need of support. If you’re able to donate, share, or even just send a message of encouragement, it would mean everything to me. Every little bit helps, and your kindness could truly change the course of my healing.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story and for being part of my journey.
With love and gratitude,
Branyiell Hall
