In October 2016 my dad was taken to the hospital where he then had a massive heart attack and coded for about 20 minutes.  He was on every possible life support needed to survive and the doctor's told my family that there was a high possiblity that he wouldn't .  My dad pulled through and the doctor's told us he was among 20% of the people who actually made through what he went through.  While in rehab after the heart attack they found bleeding from somewhere in his body.  After running tests and two blood transfusions we found out  that my dad has rectal cancer.  After having the heart attack and the time needed to recover my dad had to stop working at the job he had.  He does have medical insurance but co-pays and deductibles are adding up.  His Chemo medicine co-pay alone is $400 a month.  He also will be having surgery and other testing done which is adding up.  Not only does he have medical bills but he also has to pay bills to maintain his housing and utilities.  The funding from this campaign would greatly help my dad and relieve some stress and worry that during this tough time he will be able to stay where he is at and also be able to get the medicine's he needs to beat his battle.
