F3 HIMs support Every Mans Battle
On 31July2021, 3 High Integrity Men (HIMs) from the F3 Louisville community, will approach and climb, Mt Moran in Moran, WY. As they prepare for this physical mountain, the team is reminded of the many literal and figurative mountains in the lives of their fellow men. Often, one of the greatest mountains men face in life, is the mountain of sexual addiction. Most times sexual addiction starts by the seemingly benign yet very insidious use of pornography. Pornography always leads the user down a path of destruction.
Pornography wrecks relationships, and leads to worsening behaviors as many men report, at some point, infidelity, affairs, and prostitution use, to name a few.
New Life Ministries program, Every Mans Battle (EMB), is designed to help men start their journey in sobriety from sexual sin, addiction and pornography.
The F3 Mt Moran climbing team is raising awareness and money for New Life Ministries, EMB scholarship program. This scholarship program within New Life Ministries will help men attend Every Mans Battle workshops, across the nation, that otherwise may not have the financial means to do so.
Our mission: raise $5,000 to send approximately 4 unknown men through the EMB program via New Life Ministries scholarship fund, make it to the summit of Mt Moran and plant a shovel flag! If we raise more than the $5,000, then more men benefit.
October 2017 , Patrick Parker aka F3 Focker, had the opportunity to attend the Pittsburg 3 day EMB workshop because of the EMB scholarship funds made available to him. The workshop placed him in a community of men that have held him accountable since. It also provided him resources and tools that, to this day, have armed him with the capabilities needed to maintain his sobriety. We believe that if the EMB scholarship funds were not available for him, he would have been more vulnerable to relapse and square one.
The F3 Mt Moran climbing team has covered all expenses/cost associated with the climb of Mt Moran and 100% of the proceeds contributed to this fund will go to the EMB scholarship fund of New Life Ministries.
Contributing to this fund will have profound effects on the lives of many man struggling with sexual sin, addiction, and pornography. Any amount contributed will go a long way in changing the lives of these men, their families and our nation as these men recover and reengage their families and the world as true and effective leaders. We have one month to meet our financial goal.
