On May 21, 2026, our beloved Cody Nelson, 23, was tragically taken from his family and friends all too soon. Sadly, he was killed by an impaired driver while on his way home from work that evening. He leaves behind a 2.5 year old son and so many who loved him dearly. His parents, sister, brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends - so many people are grieving so deeply.

Cody was the kindest, gentlest soul. He was fun and loving, and a proud, doting father.

His family is very grateful for the outpouring of love and support from those who surround us. And we are so appreciative of all of the emergency services and medical personnel who did everything they could that evening. Sadly, funeral costs and the upbringing and future needs for his son (i.e., education, etc.) are expenses that were unexpected at this time.
