Bone marrow transplant

Donation protected

My granddaughter Kiarra was diagnosed at one week of age with Sickle Cell Anemia, a blood disease that causes excruciating pain as well as the damaging of vital organs over time.

Kiarra is a 19 year old young, vibrant, caring soul who has spent all of her life in and out of hospitals, averaging an admission
every couple of months, with each stay usually lasting 1 -2 weeks, sometimes longer.

The only known treatment is a Bone Marrow Transplant that she received in July (2 months ago).
After many ups and downs we are happy to report that her doctors have informed her that she is Sickle Cell free!

In spite of her past condition, she has managed to stay in good spirits and even graduated high school early! She is by far the
bravest person I’ve ever known and I love her lots.

I’ve set up a GoFundMe campaign to help with recovery expenses that are not covered by her insurance, and we thank you in
advance for any donation you wish to give – your kindness will be greatly appreciated.

I am sending a special “Thank You” on Kiarra’s behalf to her donor, whomever she or he might be – Thank You and may GOD
bless you!
