Support Josh’s Road To Recovery
Donation protected
My brother, Joshua Jacobs, was in a horrible car accident on March 15 on his way to work at Antelope Valley Hospital. His car flipped over on the highway, breaking his neck and leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. Josh was rushed into emergency surgery in hopes of walking again someday, and we’re hopeful that he will, but it will take months—even years—of physical therapy to make it there.
As a single father of an 8-year-old daughter, we’re very grateful he’s alive. But, we know his road to recovery—whether he ends up walking or in a wheelchair for the rest of his life—will be arduous and expensive. Josh is currently staying at a rehab facility doing extensive therapy as our mom prepares the house to accommodate his needs. It will be very expensive turning the home we all moved into 30 years ago into a place that’s accessible for Josh’s new normal.
We’ve been overwhelmed with support from friends and family asking what they can do to help during this time and in the coming months. If you are able to donate to help with expenses for home renovations, accommodations, and physical therapy, we appreciate the support.
