Mary-Kate's Lacrosse Trip to Italy

Dear Friends & Family!
CIAO! After so many years of lacrosse, I couldn't give lacrosse up just yet! I have been presented with an amazing opportunity to play lacrosse in Italy this winter with the Italian Training Team. It is an honor to be able to play the game I love for the country that is such a big part of my family.
When I found out that there was an Italian Training Squad being put together in preperation of the 2015 Euro Cup in Prague, I eagerly signed up to try out. To my delight I made the training squad with my sister, Maddy, and a bunch of girls that I have been playing with or against for years.
We are now in the process of fundraising for our December trip to Rome to meet our Italian counter-parts. This trip is the next step in creating the National Lacrosse team of Italy and helping expand the sport globally.
So many people have been part of my life because of lacrosse and spent the time to share their love of the game with me. This trip is a chance for me to give back to the sport that has provided me with so many friends and opportunities, while playing a sport that I love.
