Vet Bill Help For Amputation

Dexter was a stray kitten around my house. We saw he was limping and knew we just HAD to catch him. I finally caught him and brought him to the vet. Come to find out he had an old injury (must have happened around 1-2 weeks of age). His femur was snapped in two! It started healing the way it was, and the vet said he shouldnt be in pain or anything later on. At 6am this morning we awoke to Dexter crying in pain and couldnt walk. I sat with him to comfort him until the clinic opened. The new X-rays revieled that that calcium from it healing is breaking off into his leg, and the break is shifting. We want what is best for him, so he now needs his leg amputated. The vet wants to do the surgery Monday, but have no money. I need help.. i can't just let him suffer... so i'm accepting donations to help with the $1,000 surgery. Any little bit helps!
