Hi, my name is Jamie and I live in Hull. I'm an 18 year old autistic & Disabled trans-identifying nonbinary performer, currently living with a transphobic, emotionally-manipulative mother.

My mother claims to be educated in how to deal with autistic children, but my entire life, she has dealt with my personal autistic experiences very badly. She accuses me of faking symptoms, using it as an "excuse for everything", and tells me autistic meltdowns don't exist. She has also, as previously mentioned, emotionally manipulated me for longer than I can remember. I realised this about a year or two ago and have seen actions proving this belief a lot more ever since I told her I am transgender.

She has never supported me in being trans. I was scared to come out directly to her, out of fear she'd tell me I was attention seeking, and didn't know what it actually meant, so I came out to everyone on my WhatsApp status. She saw this status and called me downstairs to tell me exactly what I had feared. This was when I was 13. I am now nearly 18, and for 5 years she has consistently deadnamed and misgendered me, excepting when she makes fun of me for being trans. Ever since I came out to her, I was under the impression she'd use my preferred name and pronouns when I turned 18 because, in her mind, it's all hormones until you turn 18. However, an argument recently has proven that to be incorrect. She told me that I "can't decide what my gender is" when challenged on the constant intentional misgendering, and that "deadnames don't exist".

Following said argument, she told me to leave the house, which she has done before, and when I did leave the house, she called the police and played victim, telling them I'd hit her - when in reality id pushed her away from me while she was screaming in my ear. However, this time she has been sending me links to property listings on WhatsApp, and been consistent in telling me to leave the house, although, she expects me to leave without my belongings.

I have no other family, and very limited friends, so have no other option. Please donate, even £5 will be greatly, greatly appreciated.
