Some people spend their whole lives dreaming about the future.
Allen has spent his whole life fighting just to have one.
Allen is 29 years old, and he is one of the strongest people we know — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. He has a stubborn spirit, a dark sense of humor, and a relentless determination that has carried him through more than most people will ever face in a lifetime.
Before Allen was even born, he was diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a rare genetic bone disorder that affects only about 1 in 10,000–20,000 people. It causes bones to be extremely fragile and prone to breaking.
Doctors didn’t know if Allen would survive childhood.
He endured endless hospital stays, treatments, chemotherapy, and radiation. At one point, his condition was so serious that he became a Make-A-Wish child because no one knew if he would make it.
But Allen kept going. He beat the odds again and again.
As he grew older, the disease progressed, and eventually Allen became confined to a wheelchair because his bones are simply too fragile to support him safely.
Still — he lived.
He grew up.
He laughed.
He loved.
He built a life.
Allen has never asked for sympathy. If anything, he has faced everything life has thrown at him with humor and grit that inspires everyone around him.
Then in March of 2025, Allen received another devastating diagnosis:
Stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer.
This is an extremely rare and aggressive cancer affecting only about 1–2 people per 100,000.
Because the disease is so uncommon, treatment options are limited and research is still developing. Traditional treatments like chemotherapy and radiation have not been effective at stopping the disease.
Allen is currently undergoing hormone therapy that we hope will give him more time — time to laugh, time to make memories, and time to live the life he fought so hard for.
Recently, Allen faced yet another terrifying challenge when doctors discovered a cancerous tumor on his brain, requiring emergency brain surgery.
With Allen’s health, the future is unpredictable. New challenges can appear without warning, and we truly never know what is around the corner.
But Allen keeps fighting — just like he always has. And we are all not giving up hope.
This fundraiser is not about saying goodbye. It is about giving Allen the chance to live fully while he can.
Allen has always dreamed of going to Japan and experiencing the culture, swimming with otters in Virginia, and exploring Orlando for all it has to offer — and we want to make that dream a reality.
We want him to experience joy.
Adventure.
Laughter.
Freedom.
We want him to make memories that will last a lifetime — for him and for everyone who loves him.
After a lifetime of hospitals, surgeries, and treatments, Allen deserves the chance to experience something beautiful and meaningful.
Medical costs and ongoing care make a trip like this difficult to afford, which is why we are asking for help.
If you can donate, no amount is too small.
If you can share, that means just as much.
Allen has spent 29 years proving doctors wrong and showing the world what strength really looks like.
Now we want to give something back to him.
Because Allen hasn’t stopped fighting for his life — and we want to help him live it.
