Hey everyone—welcome to the support page for the Wilkerson family.
On Thursday, October 13, Brad and Kathryne welcomed their sweet boy, Ezra Cullen, at 27 weeks gestation. He will be at the NICU in Athens for the next little while, and we’d love it if you would help lighten the burden on the Wilkerson family!
THE STORY: After battling with blood pressure issues for several weeks, Kathryne was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome and had an emergency c-section to save both Ezra’s life and her own. Now the fight is on for this strong little buddy! He’s already made amazing strides, but the journey will be long and hard for Mom, Dad, brother, and sister, who have to travel thirty minutes to and from the hospital to be with Ezra.
WHAT TO DO: First, pray! Pray for strength and peace as they navigate unfamiliar and scary waters. Pray that Ezra only continues making incredible progress as he works to get home! Pray how Jesus leads you, and pray they’d feel Him so close!
We’d also love to help the family make day-to-day life easier by easing financial burdens. They will be doing a lot of life in the car and hospital over the next few months. Your donation will go toward things like extra hands around the house as Kathryne recovers, money for groceries, gas, and meals on the road, special needs items, and easing the weight of hospital bills. Even after coming home they will have more than usual Dr.s visits, physical therapy appointments, lactation appointments, and visits with pediatricians and NICU doctors. Please consider giving, no amount is too small! But more than anything, PRAY!
Thanks for reading and standing on Truth on behalf of this precious family. We can’t wait until the day that Ezra gets to come home!
