Dear Friends, Family & TBI Members,
I'm Ezra Smolow and for my "Mitzvah Project" for my Bar Mitzvah, my dad and I will be hosting a charity Wiffle Ball game at Unlimited Sports on Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 7pm to 8pm. All the proceeds will be split 50/50 between 2 charities:
1- APS Foundation of America (https://apsfa.org), which is a charity that promotes awareness, raises funds for research on and provides support to those living with Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (or "APS" or sometimes "APLS" for short), the autoimmune disease my mom had, and
2- New York Blood Center (https://www.nybc.org), because many people need blood donations for any number of reasons, and my mom was one of them.
It will cost $36 to play in the game (all TBI members welcome!), and for every run scored my dad will donate $54, up to a total of $5,400. Unlimited Sports was kind enough to offer the field at a discounted rate which my dad will cover, so all your donations will go to the charities.
IF YOU PLAN TO JOIN US FOR THE GAME, after you make your $36 (or more!) donation, please press the "Contact" button under the "Organizer" section of the fundraiser page, and message my dad that you plan on playing.
I hope you can make it, but if you can't, feel free to donate to my campaign anyway.
Thanks for helping me make my Mitzvah Project a success,
Ezra Smolow
