Ezra Scott

Hi, my name is Ethan Sagun. My partner, Ezra Scott, and I were involved in a car accident on Tuesday, March 28 around 10:30 pm. A cop was chasing a stolen car driven by a drunk driver which came out of nowhere driving with no lights and on a bike lane that hit us as we were turning left in our parking garage. Fortunately, I’m okay. Ezra took most (if not all) of the impact, causing him broken nose, left hurt arm and sore/achy body. We’re very grateful that it’s nothing worse. He is now resting and recovering at home and waiting to be seen by a nose surgeon on Monday, April 3rd.

We thought we were able to get compensated from this injury accident, however, since the car and auto insurance is under my name, and “uninsured motorist” isn’t part of my policy, Ezra’s injuries aren’t covered by my insurance. I know, it was very heartbreaking to find that out. But we will find ways to get compensation for everything through a Criminal Case, instead of an Injury Case.

Now, we are asking for help to raise money for his ER bill, his surgery and just to get through until we get to restitution when the guy is convicted. We also are trying to raise money for that - an Attorney to sue the driver with physical and mental damages this accident has caused us. That car was our only way of transportation, and now it’s on total lost. Taking Uber everywhere until my car insurance provides me a rental will be costly for us. In addition, Ezra isn’t able to work for several weeks and I can’t work the next couple weeks until he no longer needs my assistance getting around the house.
