Jordan Fagbola

Hyde United club captain, Jordan Fagbola, suffered a ruptured achilles tendon injury during training on 6th August 2020.
The injury means he looks set to miss the entirety of the 2020/21 season after being one of the stand out players over the last 2 season. He never missed a game last season, and in his first season with Hyde United he missed only 3 games.
He is a great character who has been outstanding for the club both on and off the pitch which is why he was given the captains armband at the start of the 2019/20 season.
The club will stand by Jordan and fulfill his contract as he has shown a great amount of loyalty to the club and has turned down better financial offers from numerous clubs over the last 2 seasons.
Due to the impact of the injury he is going to have to take time off work and will need further time off following his operation. His playing contract is heavily appearance based and therefore there will be financial implications to Jordan.
To help reduce the financial blow to Jordan we have set up this Go Fund Me page, all monies received from this fund raising will go directly to Jordan.
