The Tucker Family needs your help...

Hello everyone,
My name is Ashley Cruz, daughter of Jay Tucker, and sister of Paris Tucker and Cody Tucker. As many of you know, my family has been through a lot over the years. Pictured in this Gofundme from left to right are Cody Tucker (age 23), Jay Tucker (age 59), Paris Tucker (deceased-age 20), and myself (age 38). In 2016, my dad lost two of his sons to suicide three weeks apart, Christian Tucker (deceased age 19), Jay Michael Tucker (deceased age 29), and Paris, Cody, and I lost two of our beloved brothers. This was devastating for our family, but we made it through with our faith in Jesus, and you will notice in this picture that we are all wearing memorial shirts for them at a Walk for Suicide back in 2016. We helped raise money for suicide prevention by walking as a large team of family members and friends.
On April 28, 2023, we lost our sister Paris Tucker, and my dad had to go through laying a third child to rest. Paris ingested fentanyl and my dad found her in her room unconscious. He called 911 and they instructed him to do CPR until the paramedics got there, and when they got there, they took over for him. Unfortunately, the paramedics could not get a heartbeat and had to take her away, which was traumatic for all.
On May 5, 2023, we had Paris' memorial service and it was a full room of so many loved ones mourning the loss of Paris. My dad was extremely hurt and broken, and not long after, he had a stroke. He's had some health problems before, specifically with strokes and type 1 diabetes, but this one was by far the worst. I took him to the emergency room, and they admitted him that same night and has been in the hospital since. He is suffering from paralysis on his left side which will prevent him from working and making an income. My dad has always been a hard worker and has gotten up every morning for the last 30 years, put his boots on, and went to work. He is facing the hard reality that he may not be able to live independently anymore and his whole world has changed.
His mental and physical health are both very poor at this time, with his tremendous losses and his stroke, and I am trying to figure out how to help him once he's out of medical care. He will be transferred to a rehab facility today to work on physical therapy every day hoping to regain strength in his left side, and once he is out, we are going to need a plan for a new living situation. He lived in a 2-bedroom apartment with my sister Paris, who paid rent and is now deceased, and Paris' mom, who will also no longer be living there. The apartment itself is where we lost Paris, so he should move anyway, but that is complicated in itself because it requires funding that we just don't have at this time.
My brother, Cody Tucker, is also struggling with this loss and is a working dad and is trying to survive this with his son, Christian Tucker, named after our late brother. His support system here really consists of me and my family, as my dad is medically unable to help and his mother no longer lives in Texas. He has had no time to even grieve this loss and immediately went back to work to take care of his son. He's a great dad and the only brother I have left, and I'm so proud of him and how hard he works. He is also a type 1 diabetic so stress and trauma severely affect his health as well.
This fund is for them. They need support with living expenses, moving, medical care, and so much more. They have been through so much mentally and physically now, that I just want to make sure that they come out of this as survivors. If you feel inclined to donate to this cause to help the Tucker Family, I want to thank you in advance. If you cannot support them financially, I certainly understand, and we all appreciate your continuous prayers.
I have never put together a gofundme before as I like to try and handle things independently and don't want to cast concern on other people, but I am unable to fully provide for all of their needs at this time, so I am being vulnerable.
Thank you,
Ashley Cruz
