On 12/13/25 24 year old Ezinne Ugwuh was headed home from a dentist appointment and when she was crossing an intersection she was hit by a car.
She sustained injuries to the left half of her body including her head and lower back. She was taken to Wyckoff Hospital where she received treatment and was discharged later that evening. However, since the accident Ezinne has not been able to work to sustain herself. Ezinne works as a Veterinary Assistant full time.
Ezinne is a passionate animal lover and is studying to earn her associates degree in animal medicine at LaGuardia University.
Since her accident, Ezinne has undergone a surgical procedure to drain blood that had accumulated around her left knee.
In addition to all of this, Ezinne needs a root canal treatment because when she hit her head in the accident the fillings she received cracked open and became infected. Ezinne’s dental insurance does not fully cover it and she would be left to pay $2,800 out of pocket.
As concerned family we are requesting any type of assistance as the bills just keep piling up and it is becoming extremely overwhelming for her. Thank you all for reading and any donations you give!
