Ezekiel Ango's M.Div.

In 2009 Ezekiel put aside his career plans to answer a call from God and from Ventura Missionary Church to serve as a fulltime missionary to an unreached people group in his home country (we're not disclosing specific information for security reasons). Since then, he has led a non-governmental organization that has brought the first modern medical care to this region, restored broken bore-holes and cleaned and capped open-pit wells to bring clean water, and started a school to provide education and, most importantly, hope to children who have been ignored by their country for decades. Ezekiel and his family have lived sacrificially, have served without reservation and have endured threats to their security during this season.
Ezekiel also serves as a Regional Strategy Coordinator for World Partners. In this role he helds mentor and disciple emerging leaders throughout West Africa and provides strategic direction and input to the global organization.
Last year, Ezekiel was accepted into the Masters of Divinity program at Wheaton College. He is eligible for an accelerated distance learning program that will allow him to continue to provide leadership to the ministry at home. Unfortunately, the scholarship Ezekiel sought is not offered for distance learning students, so Ezekiel must pay all his expenses. Based on information from Wheaton College and estimated travel costs, those expenses are approximately $11,500 per semester. This is a three-semester program, so the total cost will be $34,500. Ezekiel is presently supporting his family of 6 on $1,600 per month, so this education expense is completely beyond his budget.
Ezekiel's per-semseter expenses are itemized here:
Wheaton Expenses:
12 credits @ $620 per credit: $7,440
Books: 12 @ $30 $360
Lodging: 14 days @ $25 $350
Meals: 14 days @ $18 $252
Misc: 14 days @ $25 $350
Other Expenses:
Airfare: $2,000
Misc: $748
TOTAL PER SEMESTER: $11,500
REALLY GREAT NEWS: A very generous donor has agreed to match every gift, up to 50% of the total needed ($34,500) !! So, every gift is doubled!!!
If we can raise these funds by October 31, Ezekiel can enroll in the January 2018 semester.
Your gift isn't just paying for Ezekiel's education - it is a Kingdom investment; an investment in an individual who was been called by God to serve the people of his country, all of Africa and we believe, the world. This is an eternal investment!
