Help Save Honey - Our Baby Needs Emergency Lifesaving Care

Honey’s Story:

Hi everyone,

This is our sweet girl Honey. She’s only two years old, full of spunk, & the spunkiest, sassiest little sweetheart you’ll ever meet. She’s “independent” (or so she thinks!) & wants love on her own terms. But at the end of the day, she’s our baby & the heart of our family. We love her so much, & it’s heartbreaking to see her so sick right now.

Honey suddenly became very weak. She’s lost weight, has no energy, is shaking, breathing hard, hiding under things, and feels hot to the touch. Her eyes dilate constantly, her gums have turned pale, & she’s so exhausted she even lets us hold and kiss her without resistance… which is not like her at all. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where they discovered her fever was 106°F which is dangerously high.

Her bloodwork came back inconclusive, & the vet believes it could be a severe bacterial infection or FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). Either way, she needs around-the-clock hospital care to even have a chance. The vet has told us that without hospitalization & treatment, her chances of survival are not very high.

The financial burden is overwhelming: it’s already $1,600 just for this weekend’s emergency hospitalization, & if Honey needs ongoing treatment for FIP, the estimate is over $10,000 for 12 weeks of care. In total, her fight for life could cost $11,600+. That’s why we’ve set our fundraising goal at $12,000 in order to cover her immediate & ongoing care.

We want to do everything we can to save her, but we simply cannot afford this on our own. That’s why we’re reaching out for help.

Any donation big or small will go directly toward Honey’s vet bills, hospitalization, & treatment. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page to help us reach others.

Honey is so young & has so much life left to live. Please help us give her that chance.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,

❤️ Allison, Tyler, Hailey, Jocelyn, Kamden, & her fur siblings Trigger & Zeus.
